イベント三昧の日々

11月2日はannonymassのライブをUNITで。オープニングアクトはbe the voice。その後はドイツのテクノ/ハウス・レーベルplayhouseのイベントでATAとLucianoがDJ。翌日はこだま和文師匠のDub Station Band/Vincent Atomics/LED/Special Othersなどのショーケースイベント。その翌日はベルギーからGlimmersがやってきてDJ。その翌日5日はUNITでずっと継続してやっているScoobie DoのイベントでZAZEN BOYSとScoobie Doのライブ。その後はChari Chariとイワキケンタロウ君のイベントFloatribeでイワキケンタロウバンドのライブを見て、今日はUNITでtoeのライブイベント。

ジャンルも雰囲気も違うイベントが7連発。たまには他の所にも行くかと思って、この前久々にagehaのSTUSSY25周年イベントに行ってみたところ、あまりの人の多さに入るのを断念。前まで行って帰ってきてしまいました。ここ数日でいくつのライブアクトとDJを見たのか。。それより何千人の人を見たのか。。たまには人のいないところに行きたい。。

想像しただけで目が回ります。人、人、人。
それにしてもいつも駆け足で日々過ごしていらっしゃるんですね。日記を見ているといつもそう感じます。止まっていない。
その分色々な物を沢山吸収されている。
良くも悪くも「外」に出る事は大切なのかな。それにしてもSTUSSYが２５周年なんて。まだ日本に入ってきて１０年ちょっとですよね？昔、私がまだ学生の頃STUSSY経営されていたＫ社長が女性向けのセレクトshopをオープンし、そこでアルバイトしていたのを思い出しました。stussyがまだ恵比寿の奥の方に事務所とお店を構えていた頃。Ｋ社長は今どうしているのやら・・・買収されたと聞きましたが・・懐かしい思い出です。

いやー駆け足で日々過ごすってのもどうなんだろうと自分では思いますけどねー。ただ、僕は本当はものすごい出不精で強制的に用事を作らないと、平気で何日も引きこもっちゃうのでそれくらいでいいのかもしれませんけど。。。

STUSSYの25周年はぼくも驚きました。小学生だったころにはもうあったんですね。長いこと続いてるってのはそれだけですごいことだと思います。
